Banana Ice Cream
- Ripe frozen banana (s)
Those ripe frozen bananas you have been saving for banana bread, you can also use to make a delicious, healthy ice cream for the summer months.
Simply chop the banana into pieces place it in the freezer for minimum 2 hours.
Take them out and pop in a blender or in a bowl and use an immersion blender. I highly recommend one if you don't have one - great little tools for whipping up ice cream, to muffins to soups!
You can also get creative in adding some cocoa making chocolate banana ice cream, peanut butter, cinnamon, coconut shavings. Loads of different ideas to spice it up.
